In the making

Soooo. I want to dye my hair lilac, like a darkish pastel shade but there are so many things which are preventing me from doing so. Which sucks a lot. Another problem I have is that I'm not entirely sure how to get my hair from fairly dark auburn to a medium lilac without killing it and having to cut it all off! I want this exact colour! Suggestions of how to do this in the nicest way possible would be wonderful! :D

This idea was spurred on by my love of pastel coloured dip dye, which I originally wanted. Something like this.. much love xoxo

Its been a while since i did my last post but I've had less time than i thought i would have. Anyway, I recently finished my catering assistant job at Download Festival, and it was such a good opportunity! Perks of the job included valuable experience and of course an all access wrist band thanks to the lovely security guard ;) Came back home to receive more good news that my mom is going to be FINE! :D couldn't actually be happier right now, and to top it off i have a ton of job interviews for more work hours so that I can continue to save for America and all of the other exciting things i'm planning to do this year and next year! I really do believe the saying that, 'happiness come to those who wait' and more so now that it has happened to me, and here is a visual representation edited by my amazing boyfriend of how happy i am right now :P I hope it brightens your day too and may all the happiness in the world come your way. xo

One of my main plans for this summer is a trip to Paris, the most Romantic city in the world. I found this corsage on ebay and thought it would be perfect to go with my cute Japanese cocktail dress; i plan on wondering around the city of love without a care in the world for a few magical nights. Did you ever see that episode of Sex and the City: An American girl in Paris? where Carrie moves to paris with Alexander Petrovsky and casually wonders around Paris in a Dior dress? Well, there is nothing more that i would like to do right now then dress up and roam around such a beautiful city. Paris is always featured as the place of magic, love and romance and i'm the biggest sucker for these fairytale traits! I have been there once before but was too young to fully appreciate the things that i saw, so i wan't to return and act out my beautiful fantasy under the Paris moonlight with a special someone by my side. In the childlike words of Anastasia herself, we will be "together in Paris". Thanks for reading :) xo

So, I've just finished my first year of University! and have come to the realization that I now have a lot of free time on my hands for the next few months, (not complaining though!) therefore, I think starting a blog will be a very fun and creative outlet for my overactive mind and growing love of all things beautiful :) My plans for the summer will be entirely dependent on whether my summer job applications are a success (fingers crossed!), besides this i plan on writing, catching up on some much needed literature and enjoying time with family and friends and my break away from the mass of Uni work which will no doubt be right back on the agenda before i know it! that will be all for my first ever blog post, but i promise to continue to post more beautiful things for you beautiful people. stay classy bloggers. xo
